Ghost Train Willy Eoghan McLaughlin

Eoghan has a BA in English and Philosophy and a HDip in Journalism and Media Communications. He studied screenwriting at the UCD School of Film, performance at the Gaiety School of Acting, and digital film-making at the New Media Technology College. He has worked in theatre production with Turning Worm Theatre Company of which he is a founder member. The company toured a version of Machiavelli’s Mandragola, in 2007. As a theatre director, he worked on Delfina Production’s What You Didn’t Know (2005) which he also co-wrote (with Maria Lopez) and The Worst Thing You Can Do To Somebody That Is Not A Crime (2005), by Fintan O’Higgins. Also a successful actor, Eoghan has worked with many of Ireland’s most respected companies, including Island, Loose Canon, Riff-Raff and Lost Trolley. On screen he has starred in WC, Cinephelia, A Scare at Bedtime, and The Roaring Twenties – (all RTE).
